(They’re all for me, I should just point out)

I can’t think of many people who can critique your messaging (in my case, my LinkedIn output) whilst at the same time inducing belly laughs throughout. But Jo Watson can. And when she then follows up every observation and idea with realistic, actionable advice that you can put into practice immediately, you realise that her Sorted in 60® means exactly that: One hour, problems solved. Thanks, Jo! Our session almost makes me want to feel like a failure again so we can have another one!

I think her work is possibly witchcraft of some sort. I had the pleasure of going through the “Sorted in 60” process with Jo today. I say process in the loosest possible sense of the word (and this is a good thing). Despite the obvious language barrier between someone from <gestures wildly towards somewhere vague several hundred miles north> and deepest Surrey, we both talked full pelt for the full 60 minutes, excluding the time spent discussing cats (neither of whom showed up) and the statistical implausibility of finding a publishing deal in McDonalds. At one point when I was deep in notes, Jo paused to check I was still there, and I found myself saying, “even with a northern accent I’m still following you, Jo”. Anyway, the important thing is that I can now say the words “content strategy” without doing the air quotes with my fingers, and I have a head full of ideas of how to get more of myself (and did I mention my book?) out there into the world (you lucky people).

Jo Watson’s Sorted in 60® is very misleading. And I’ll be honest, I was quite surprised, because when you pay for a service, you expect to get what’s described. The reason I booked the call was that I’d been making changes in my business and didn’t know how best to communicate them. I’d got caught up in the internal chaos and tied my frontal lobes in knots. Which is quite ironic really, because the very thing I was struggling with is exactly what I help others with. Anyway, I booked Sorted in 60®. And when it was time for our call, I waited for four minutes. And this wasn’t a cheap session. She still hadn’t shown up. So I thought to myself, ah… this must be Sorted in 56®. I have a five-minute rule for this sort of thing. If someone hasn’t shown up, I leave. So I did. Then I realised something. I’d joined the call an hour early. That’s how fucking keen I was. Jo sent me an email saying she’d noticed I’d joined the Zoom early and that we could start sooner if I wanted. I told her not to worry, I’d wait. Now this is where the Sorted in 60® becomes a bit misleading. Jo gave me far more than the 60 minutes. She was incredibly generous with her time, helped me tremendously, and gave me a huge amount of clarity. In the middle of it all we laughed like old mates who hadn’t spoken in years, which is mad considering I’d never met her before. When I first joined the call, I mentioned I had high expectations. Jo managed to surpass them and more. So, yeah. This one deserves a recommendation. Thanks Jo!

Jo Watson knows words! Copywriting is possibly the most misunderstood craft in marketing today and the overuse of AI proves this. Selling ideas and converting leads takes more than “clarity” or well crafted sentences. It takes a decisive understanding of your product’s position and your product’s philosophy or messaging. To write words that convey those two things without explaining them directly is both a skill and an art form. Jo really gets this art form! Her work is sharp, on point… and the bonus… she makes the hour (Sorted in 60) easy. Less intimidating. Of course the important thing as a business owner, you come away with usable copy (not simply a lesson on how to write copy). This is key! Jo gives excellent ROI for the money, so if you love the way she writes on Linkedin, and you know nothing about copywriting for yourself – then set up your sessions asap. Jo will lift your brand in a way that AI cannot.

I booked a Sorted in 60® session with Jo because I’d outgrown the way I was describing myself and my work. In just 60 minutes, she helped me gain real clarity on my introduction and positioning, not only for LinkedIn, but for my website, too. Jo doesn’t just tweak words. She looks at the bigger picture: structure, flow, narrative and alignment across platforms. Her ability to listen carefully, reflect back your strengths and shape them into clear, confident messaging is exceptional. Sorted in 60® delivers clarity fast and impact that lasts. I’d highly recommend Jo to any business owner ready to refine how they show up.

I’d absolutely love to thank Jo for ripping through my ramblings, sharpening every chapter, and injecting even more punk venom and humour into the pages of my recently published book – Be More PUNK. She made it read like an actual book, rather than a chaos-fuelled brain dump.
