I’ve had a lovely week here at agoodwriteup, spending time writing the new website copy for my good friends Chris and Lindsay over at Scruffymonkey Digital Media in Bolton.  After building a successful website design and website development business over the past three years, Scruffymonkey approached me in order to streamline their web content and make the promotion of their products and services a lot clearer, more concise and more accessible to their existing and potential clientele.

Scruffymonkey’s decision to re-work their content and promotional material came at the same time as I thought it would be good to give my own website for agoodwriteup somewhat of a freshen up.  As a result, we’ve been working together to achieve each other’s aims.  This is what I love about working with local businesses – you form strong relationships really quickly and learn how you can all support each other towards the development of your business ventures.

Whilst the Scruffymonkey website is still yet to be re-launched, as Chris and Lin monkey around with all the tech-y stuff that they love and I don’t understand, I have raced ahead and launched my all-new agoodwriteup website NOW.  I hope you like it, but more importantly, I hope you haven’t spotted any mistakes!  We Grammar Geeks are expected to be publicly flogged if this ever happens – we’re not human, after all.

As I’ve built my business as a part time venture over the past four years, my blogs for agoodwriteup have been sporadic at best, as I’ve always put the work of my clients before my own publicity.  However, as I’m now proud to run agoodwriteup full time, you can expect to see a weekly post from me on here regarding my up-to-date musings on projects I’m working on, clients I’m working with, or just whatever in the world of language or literature has wound me up that week.  I’ll try to keep it light-hearted!
