100-word Warpath: All style, no substance

I don’t understand why organisations waste so much money designing a website when the informational content is scribbled down and thrown on as an afterthought.

It’s true that a visually appealing and technologically attractive website will draw customers in, but what if it doesn’t actually tell them anything once they ‘land’?  Worse still, what if the information it does provide is unclear, riddled with mistakes and generally not in-keeping with the ‘wow’ factor of the way your website looks?

If you’re all style, no substance, your clients will find you out…

…if they even book you in the first place.
