The Source of Bad Writing and the Curse of Knowledge
A very good friend of mine has, this morning, alerted me to this interesting article from The Wall Street Journal.
The article is written by the ever-influential Steven Pinker (www.stevenpinker.com), who opens his offering with the question I ask/shout in frustration on a daily basis… why is so much writing so bad?
While Mr Pinker opens with this line in a bid to discuss a more than plausible response to the question in hand, I still purely ask it as a way to express my annoyance.
