I’m bringing blogging back

Back in January, everyone wanted to get busy blogging as they did the whole New Year’s Resolutions thing for their business.

To play my part, I ran an intensive half day blog writing course in Bolton to help equip a maximum of 8 delegates with ideas, information and inspiration to get writing blogs for their businesses in 2019.

In June, I’m running that same course once again. Call it a second chance for those who really didn’t think blog writing was a big deal at the start of the year, but who have since seen their competitors getting savvy with their storytelling and cleaning up with all of their customers.

If, as we start the approach towards the halfway point of 2019, you’ve realised that you’re seriously in need of a strategy for showing the world who you are and what you do, then maybe I can help you. At least on paper. Literally.

After an oversubscribed run of the course in January, the next event is set for Friday 14th June, at the same location in Bolton, Greater Manchester – Mercure Bolton Georgian House Hotel. One minute from the M61 motorway, two minutes from two train stations, and loads of free parking.

My blog writing course is ideal for anyone who would like to see the benefits that writing and posting original, interesting and persuasive blogs can have on raising your profile, building your brand, and engaging clients old and new. The course works as well for established businesses as it does for start-up ventures. All are welcome – although for maximum impact there’s a limit of just 8 spaces available, so that everyone can get involved, put forward their ideas and questions, and benefit from individual tailored advice to help with their blogging, personal branding and content strategy.

Of course, there are lots of providers and organisations out there who run blogging courses and training events – lots are available. Those events are often called things like ‘Blogging Basics’, but that’s not what I offer. I want delegates on my blogging course to leave feeling competent, clear and confident about writing their own blogs. No basics, but everything you need to know about blog writing – and how to do it well.

As well as blogging, the training will look at social media short and long form content, which basically means posts on sites such as LinkedIn that, if written well, go beyond the remit of a status update and instead work to establish your brand.

The blog writing course on Friday 14th June in Bolton costs just £145 for the half day session (9.30am – 1.30pm). The cost also covers free-flowing refreshments. a delicious lunch, and complimentary access to the leisure facilities on the day.

Attending one of my sessions is guaranteed to be as enjoyable as it is informative, because as my client testimonials and my own LinkedIn posts show, I don’t do death by PowerPoint, and I certainly don’t do boring.

I’m confident that you’ll leave my blog writing course in Bolton with a long term content strategy and a ready-to-go set of ideas to get your first (or next) blog ‘out there’. Confidence, skills, ideas… and a lovely lunch to send you on your way? Sounds like a great morning out, if you ask me. Contact hello@agoodwriteup.com to book!
